Alice Stone
Alice Stone is the founder and creative director of Lily and Lionel. A London College of Fashion alumna, Alice launched the label - named after her maternal grandparents - in 2009, initially as a luxury scarf brand known for its hand-drawn, vintage-inspired prints. By 2015, Alice had grown Lily and Lionel into a ready-to-wear British print house, delivering collections worldwide from her London studio. She lives in north London with her husband and one year-old son.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?: My family and I barefoot on the beach, preferably somewhere tropical.
Which living person do you most admire?: David Attenborough.
What is your greatest extravagance?: Scented candles.
What is your current state of mind?: Positive and excited for what lies ahead.
What do you consider the most overrated virtue?: Patience.
Which words or phrases do you most overuse?: I say 'nailed it' or 'epic' on a daily basis - the Lily and Lionel team enjoy teasing me about this.
If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be?: One of the Queen's Corgi's.
Where would you most like to live?: London has my heart, there are always places to move to but nowhere quite like home.
What is your most treasured possession?: My vintage jewellery, mainly hand-me-downs from my grandmothers and close family which I never take off.
What is your favorite occupation?: Creating beautiful timeless collections - I'm fortunate enough to be able to do this in my work.
What is your most marked characteristic?: Empathy.
What do you most value in your friends?: Loyalty, honesty and integrity.

What is it that you most dislike?: Lateness and rudeness.
