Kristina McLean is a development consultant specializing in creating engaging programming for art collectors and philanthropists. Kristina ran Frieze Art Fair's VIP department from 2012-2016, and now heads up their collector outreach for the fairs in Latin America. From 2019-2020 Kristina was Director of Fragmentos in Bogota, a monument to the Colombian peace process conceived by artist Doris Salcedo, operating as a platform for artists to work on the theme of conflict. Starting in 2020, Kristina has been working with the Aspen Art Museum to re-imagine their membership program and events. Kristinalives in Bogota, Colombia with her husband, two boys, and Caramba the family pup.
What is your idea of perfect happiness?: Bicycling through a forest on a sunny day
Which living person do you most admire?: Does it have to be a person? Our dog Caramba just gives and receives love all day - and that's all everyone needs to do right?
What is your greatest extravagance?: A full time live in nanny...
What is your current state of mind?: 2021 can't come soon enough (maybe even 2022)
What do you consider the most overrated virtue?: Patience. Probably because I find it SO hard

Which talent would you most like to have?: Teleporting
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?: The ability to do one thing at a time
What do you consider your greatest achievement?: Learning 5 languages
If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be?: Maybe it would be nice to come back as a fabulous mid-century house and watch all the happiness and sadness unfold inside my walls
Where would you most like to live?: In at least 3 places at once. That's sort of hard with school though!
What is your most treasured possession?: I am happy to say I am not too attached to any of my possessions
