Dr. Elizabeth Kapuʻuwailani Lindsey is the first Polynesian Explorer and female Fellow in the history of the National Geographic Society. Who are your heroes in real life?: My father who was a humble man, brilliant scholar and spiritual giant. My husband George Crowley who everything and more. And the first responders for their courage and compassion.
What is it that you most dislike?: Violence and prejudice
What is your greatest regret?: That I met my husband at age 60. I wish weʻd met sooner so that we could love each other longer.
